The city of Marsing, affectionately known as “the gateway to the Owyhee Mountains”, sits on the Snake River with easy access to the Sunnyslope wine region, fishing, mountain biking, hiking, river rafting, kayaking, hunting and easy boat access.

Marsing is 5 miles to Caldwell and Nampa and only 30 miles to Boise where you have vast shopping and the Boise Airport. With the population of approximately 1100, we are a small community with country charm, a wealth of outdoor living, farming, activities and business opportunities. Marsing is one of the largest cities in Owyhee County and is home to a diverse mix of residents – from families and young singles, to the “actively retired.”

A destination spot, The SunnySlope Wine Trail is across the river offering beautiful vineyards with delicious local wine tasting. We have an active outdoor recreational scene, dining and local events.  It is a wonderful place to live and a great place to visit.
